Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, is marked with great fervor at SLVS. On this auspicious day, a special Abhishek Puja is performed. The temple is beautifully decorated with images and symbols representing Lord Krishna’s divine play. A highlight of the celebration is the Matka Phod ceremony, where devotees joyfully participate in breaking a pot filled with curd, reminiscent of Krishna’s playful antics as a child. The festivities create a vibrant and devotional atmosphere, drawing worshippers who come together to honor and celebrate the birth of their beloved deity.
